On September 27, 2024, the Institute (Department for Agricultural Research and Development, Science Sector) became richer for another Doctor of Science. Our young colleague Natalija Čutović, Master of Technology Engineer, defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "Optimization of the extraction of Paeonia tenuifolia L. petals, biological effects on the skin and immobilization of extracts in carriers" at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, and was officially promoted to Doctor of Technical Sciences (Technological Engineering). Her dissertation resulted from research included in the Strategic Project of the Republic of Serbia (Institute for Medicinal Plants Research, head Dr. Tatjana Marković) with the People's Republic of China (Academy of Agricultural Sciences from Beijing, head Dr. Jingqi Xue) in the period 2021-2024 (project no. 451-03-1202/2021-09), and was realized under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Branko Bugarski (TMF) and Dr. Aleksandra Jovanović (INEP).
