We are proud to share with you the news that the researchers of the Institute for Medicinal Plants Research "Dr. Josif Pančić" from Belgrade have become participants in another international project within the framework of COST Actions (GrantCA23123), which is called "Non-chemical weed management in medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs)". On this occasion, the first meeting of representatives of the Management Committee (MCs) of this project was held in Brussels, headed by Dr. Anja Vieweger, from the Institute for Organic Agriculture FiBL (Switzerland). The project brought together about 60 researchers (from 20 countries) who, in the next four-year period (September 27, 2024–September 26, 2028), will exchange experiences and improve knowledge related to the important topic of non-chemical weed management in plantations with medicinal and aromatic plants around the world. As delegated MC from our Institute and deputy manager of work package 5 of this project, the meeting in Brussels was attended by Dr. Ana Dragimilo, from the Department for Agricultural Research and Development, Science Sector. In addition to Dr. Dragumilo, Dr. Miloš Rajković and Dr. Tatjana Marković from the Department were engaged in the project.
