The Institute for Medicinal Plants Research Dr. Josif Pančić, with its registered office in Belgrade, Tadeusa Košćuška 1 (hereinafter: the Institute), is the owner of the website www.mocbilja.rs and all the content on it.

Protecting your privacy when visiting the company's website is very important, and to that end we inform you of the following:

General information

In its operations, the Institute complies with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 87/2018) - ZZPL, which is harmonized with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016. on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).

Our Rulebook on Personal Data Protection No.   1154-P from 16.09.2019. (hereinafter: the Rulebook) regulates all issues relevant to the protection of personal data.

 

How we process your data

Whenever you visit our website, your IP address and other information are stored in anonymous form. If you register an account on our site, your name and contact information will be saved. If you contact us via the web form on the site or by e-mail, we will also save your contact information. The following are explanations of the cases in which personal data is stored and the type of data in question:

Site visit

When you visit our website, certain data is automatically saved in server log files. This data includes the IP address, the type and version of the Internet browser you are using, the time and date. The IP address is anonymized so that you cannot be identified.

Account registration

When you make your first purchase, you automatically open an account on our website, during the registration process we collect and further process some of your personal data. For example, we need your name, address, telephone number and email address. We delete your registration data either during 24 months or as soon as you request to delete your account.  You can delete your account if you send an e-mail to administrator@mocbilja.rs in which you request deletion. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, i.e. Article 12, paragraph 1, item 2) ZZPL - processing is necessary in order to take action, at the request of the person to whom the data refer, before concluding the contract.

Contact form

If you contact us via the contact form on the website, your data will be saved. A copy of the message is saved on the server, and another copy is sent to the address of the person who can answer your question and to the address of the site administrator. The data stored in this case are your name, email address, message title and message text. You can request deletion of your data if you send an e-mail to administrator@mocbilja.rs in which you request deletion. The legal basis of this data processing is also Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, i.e. Article 12, paragraph 1, item 2) ZZPL.

 

Cookies

Cookies are small files that are stored on the user's computer and can store various data. They are used primarily to store information about users. They are stored in the user's devices during or after using the website or online store.  Temporary cookies, session cookies, or transient cookies are cookies that are deleted when the user closes the web browser. Such cookies are used, for example, to save settings or the content of the e-shopping cart.

On the other hand, cookies called "permanent" or "persistent" remain stored in the browser even after the browser is closed. For example, the user's login status to the site can be saved for a certain number of days after the visit. Also, persistent cookies can measure the user's distance from the site or information about the user's interests. This data may be used for marketing purposes.

It is useful to be familiar with the above terms in order to understand our cookie and personal data protection policy.

Google Analytics

Based on our legitimate interest, and in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, i.e. Article 12 paragraph 1 point 6) ZZPL, we use Google Analytics - Google Analytics (GA), a web analysis service provided by the company Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about website usage and visitors is usually sent to and stored on Google's servers in the USA. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and therefore provides protection under EU privacy regulations. Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate how you use our website, to display activity reports and to provide us with other services related to the use of the website and related services. Pseudonymized usage profiles can be created about you based on the processing of this data. We use Google Analytics in the "Universal-Analytics" version, which is a GA process in which user analysis is performed on the basis of a pseudonymized user ID, which is used to create a pseudonymized user profile, with information about the use of different devices (eng. "Cross- Device Tracking"). We use GA exclusively with IP anonymization activated. Your full IP address sent by your web browser is not sent by Google together with other data. You can turn off the option to save cookies in your browser settings. You can also prevent the storage of cookies by using this add-on for your browser: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

 On our website there are links (external links) to other websites, which operate in accordance with their own Terms of Use and Privacy and Personal Data Protection Rules/Policies. The company is not responsible for the content available on such websites. Also, the profiles of employees in the Researchers section can be connected to the websites of social networks and academic communities, associations and associations or to platforms for searching scientific works.

Your rights as a person from whom personal data is collected and to whom it relates

Your rights are regulated in detail by the Rulebook on Personal Data Protection no.   from 09.10.2019 year, and in accordance with ZZPL.
