The modern approach to the development of such a complex organization indicated the need to introduce a quality system and manage that quality. The quality management system in the INSTITUTE introduces a new business concept that includes the quality of products and services, as well as the quality of all business processes, which inevitably results in a higher quality of products and services.

The concept of quality in the introduced QMS has a broader meaning. The adopted concept determines: hierarchy, management, competence, authority and responsibility, work organization, flow of documentation and sequence of activities that will ensure the development of QMS.

Scientific workers and professional associates of the INSTITUTE have been involved in scientific, strategic and innovation projects of science and technological development of the Republic of Serbia for many years. They are also participants in international projects.

In the laboratories of the INSTITUTE equipped with devices (GC-FID, GC-MSD, HPLC), in addition to scientific research, testing of plant raw materials and products based on medicinal plants is carried out.
