Phytopreparations
The group of phytopreparations includes modern pharmaceutical forms of products made from medicinal herbs, intended to support the harmonization of physiological processes and alleviate mild health issues. Developed as the result of projects undertaken by the Institute's teams of experts, many of these products have been on the market for several decades, with numerous generations of users attesting to their quality and effectiveness.
They are produced from standardized liquid, dry, and oil extracts of medicinal plants with a defined content of active ingredients.
The range of phytopreparations includes:
- Encapsulated products made from standardized dry extracts, intended for oral use: Palisept, Forticor, Bilax D, Demak, Odoval S, and Sillymill
- Liquid extracts made from standardized extracts, also intended for oral use: Forticor extract, Reaven P tonic, Echinacea drops, and Wild Garlic drops
- Syrups that, in addition to standardized extracts, also contain honey: Altiprim and Altiprim P
- Liquid extracts in spray form, which, in addition to herbal extracts, contain propolis and are intended for local application on the mucous membranes of the throat and nose: Propoherb N and Propoherb G
- Gels made from standardized liquid extracts, intended for external use: Fitogel, Echinacea gel, Reaven P gel, and Comfrey gel
- Hair lotion made from herbal extracts, intended for application to the scalp
- Ointments and oils made from standardized oil and liquid extracts, intended for external use: Fitorektal, Rheuma oil, Tea Tree Oil Gel, St. John's Wort Oil Gel, Calendula Oil Gel, Oil Gel for Mosquito Bites, and Propoherb HS Balm
- Products made from oil extracts for local application on the vaginal mucosa: Calendula suppositories and St. John's Wort suppositories
The production of phytopreparations complies with HACCP system requirements. As with other Institute products, before being released to the market, each batch undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure microbiological and health safety, as well as compliance with product specifications, in accordance with legal regulations.
