The Minister of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation, Dr. Jelena Begović, met with outstanding researchers at the Government of the Republic of Serbia to personally congratulate them and get to know them better. She also discussed their experiences and listened to suggestions for potential improvements in the system for identifying outstanding researchers.

Twenty of the best researchers, ranked at the top of various lists, were invited to the meeting. Two researchers from the Institute for Medicinal Plant Research "Dr. Josif Pančić" were invited to the meeting:
