Tamara Milosavljević, a Master of Pharmacy, was born on June 26, 2000, in Belgrade, Serbia, where she completed her primary and secondary education. She enrolled in integrated academic studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, study program Pharmacy, in 2019, and graduated in 2024 with a grade point average of 9.20. Her final thesis, entitled “Variability of Glandular Trichomes and Essential Oil Composition of Teucrium montanum L.”, was conducted at the Department of Pharmacognosy.
During her studies, she was a recipient of the scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia for students with high achievements. In the period from 2022 to 2024, she was engaged as a student researcher at the Department of Pharmacognosy and the Department of Botany within the Student Research Centre (CNIRS), where she focused on the analysis of morphological and chemical characteristics of the species Teucrium montanum L., applying modern analytical methods. She presented the results of her research at the 63rd Congress of Biomedical Sciences Students of the Republic of Serbia. She was actively involved in student organizations, including the Belgrade Pharmacy Students’ Association (BPSA), where she held the position of Marketing Officer, as well as in the Student Exchange Programme (SEP). As part of the student exchange, in September 2023, she stayed in Lisbon, where she completed professional training in a community pharmacy.
She enrolled in doctoral academic studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, in 2025, at the Department of Pharmacognosy.
She gained professional experience through work in several pharmaceutical and scientific institutions. During 2024 and 2025, she was engaged as an intern at Accelsiors CRO, where she participated in quality control and documentation management in clinical trials in accordance with ICH GCP standards. She completed her professional training required for pharmacist licensure at the Pharmacy Institution “Galen Pharm”. Since April 2026, she has been employed at the Institute for Medicinal Plant Research "Dr. Josif Pančić", as Junior Research Assistant in the Department for Pharmaceutical Research and Development.
She has an advanced level of English (C1) and a basic level of German (A2). Her research interests include pharmacognosy, phytotherapy, and the application of natural products in modern pharmaceutical practice and industry.
