Snežana Kuzmanović Nedeljković was born on December 27th in 1993, in Šabac, Serbia. After graduating from Medical high school „Dr Andra Jovanović“ in Šabac, in October 2012, she started her studies at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Pharmacy. She was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. As a student she was involved in research in the field of Toxicology, and by defending her experimental thesis on the topic "Investigation of the sensitivity of clinical isolates Achromobacter spp. to trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole" at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, she obtained the title of Master of Pharmacy. She graduated in September 2017 with an average grade of 9.29.

In October 2017, she started her PhD studies in the field of Pharmaceutical Microbiology. From February 2018 to October 2021, she worked as a Regional representative in a medical team at Sandoz Representative Office in Serbia, where she maintained communication with doctors and pharmacists in different areas: cardiology, pain therapy, pulmonary arterial hypertension therapy and antibiotics. Since that time, she is employed as a Research Trainee at the Institute for Medicinal Plant Research „Dr. Josif Pančić“ at the Department for Pharmaceutical Research and Development. In the March of 2024, she was promoted to a Research Assistant.

Her main research interest is in investigating the virulence potential of multidrug-resistant clinical bacterial isolates and their sensitivity to different antimicrobial substances (chemical antibiotics and medicinal plant products), optimization of extraction methods, encapsulation of essential oils and analysis of the chemical composition of essential oils by the method of gas chromatography-mass spectrophotometry (GC-MS).

She was a participant of the virtual BioCamp2021 event in the organization of Novartis, which was held in the period from September 27th - October 1st, 2021. Also, she participated in Adjuvants and vaccine formulation training course, TRANSVAC-2-ENOVA, in March 2022, at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Also, she had a secondment at the Zurko Research Company (Madrid, Spain) on the behalf on the EthnoHERBS project in the April of 2023. She is a participant on a bilateral project between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Slovenia named „Confronting multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii infection by DNA gyrase and topoisomerase inhibitors“, as well as the several COST actions.

She is a member of Serbian Society for Microbiology and Pharmaceutical Association of Serbia.
