Information

Natalija M. Čutović, Master Engineer of Technology, was born on February 26th, 1997, in Čačak.  She completed the "Dr Dragiša Mišović" elementary school in Čačak, while she received her secondary education in the same city, graduating from the science and mathematics department of the Gymnasium in Čačak, in June 2016.

In the academic year 2016/2017, she enrolled at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, study program Chemical Engineering, elective area Organic Chemical Technology. She graduated in 2020, with an average grade of 9.55/10. She continued her master's studies in the same study program, successfully completing them with an average grade of 9.87/10 and defending her Master's thesis under the supervision of prof. Dr Aleksandar Marinković, full professor of the Department of Organic Chemistry.

She enrolled into doctoral academic studies at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy of the University of Belgrade, study program - Chemical Engineering, in October 2021 under the supervision of prof. Dr Branko Bugarski and Dr Aleksandra A. Jovanović. She passed all the exams stipulated in the plan and program of the study program and defended the final exam entitled "Biological activities of Paeonia tenuifolia L. petal extracts and their potential application on the skin". She earned the title of Doctor of Philosophy - Technological Engineering - Chemical Engineering by defending her doctoral dissertation entitled "Optimization of the extraction of Paeonia tenuifolia L. petals, biological effects on the skin and immobilization of extracts in carriers" at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy of the University of Belgrade in September 2024. The average grade during her doctoral academic studies was 10/10.

She started working at the Institute for Medicinal Plant Research "Dr Josif Pančić", in the Department of Agricultural Research and Development, in May 2022, and in March of the same year, she obtained the title of Junior Research Assistant. By the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute for Medicinal Plant Research "Dr Josif Pančić" in November 2023, she earned the title of Research Associate.
