Snežana (Milorad) Mrđan was born on February 3, 1990, in Novi Sad, where she graduated from high school. Graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Novi Sad, the Republic of Serbia, with a bachelor's degree in Landscape architecture in 2013 with an average grade of 9.80 and a master's degree in Agriculture in the field of Horticulture in 2015 with an average grade of 10.00. From 2018 pursuing a Ph.D. in Agronomy. Awarded by the University of Novi Sad for the success achieved during studies in the academic years 2009/10, 2010/11, and 2011/12, and with an award for the best student of the Faculty of Agriculture in the academic year 2012/13. A scholarship recipient of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia during the first and second degree studies.

From 2015 to 2018, worked as an associate at the Department of Fruit Growing, Viticulture, Horticulture, and Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia. From September 2018 to 2021 worked as a research trainee and from 2021 to date as a research assistant at the Department of Agriculture research and development, Institute for Medicinal Plant Research "Dr Josif Pančić", Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. Is an author and co-author of several scientific papers. Works in the field of research that covers issues in the enhancement of the production of medicinal plants with a focus on plant nutrition and adjustment of medicinal plants to stressful climatic conditions.
