She attended primary school in Kruščica and secondary school in Vršac, which she completed as the recipient of the Vuk Diploma and the title of Student of the Generation. She enrolled in undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, in 2019. During the final two years of her studies, she completed three student research papers—one at the Department of Social Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Legislation, and two within the “PhAgroWaste” project (research conducted with the support of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia), in collaboration with the Department of Pharmacognosy and the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetology. For her student research paper completed in her final year, titled “Evaluation of characteristics of microcrystalline cellulose obtained from wheat harvest residues modified by spray drying technique“ she received the University of Belgrade Award for the best paper in the group of medical sciences faculties. Parts of the research conducted within this project were also published in journals “Pharmaceutics” and “Cellulose”.
During her university education, she was a scholarship recipient of the Ministry of Education, the Fund for Young Talents, and the Hemofarm Foundation. In August 2024, she passed all her exams, and in September 2024 she defended her thesis titled “Development of microcrystalline cellulose from crop residues and enhancement of its properties through spray drying co-processing”, earning the title of Master of Pharmacy with an average grade of 9.25. After graduating, she completed her internship at the “Bogdan Vujošević” pharmacy, part of the Pharmacy Belgrade, and then gained her first professional experience at the “BENU 358 Resavska” pharmacy, where, alongside a wonderful team, she had the opportunity to experience all aspects of the pharmaceutical profession.
In 2025, she decided to enroll in doctoral studies at the Department of Pharmacognosy and continue pursuing her scientific interests, which include studying the impact of pollution on the content of active compounds in plants, circular economy, and the utilization of secondary plant materials obtained in various industries—such as the wood industry and agriculture—for the extraction of active compounds, as well as the development of new pharmaceutical forms based on medicinal plants. As of April 2026, she began working at the Institute for Medicinal Plant Research “Dr. Josif Pančić.”
For 12 years, she has been a member of the oldest environmental organization in the Balkans, the “Pokret gorana Srbije.” She has participated in several international projects, including Erasmus+ short-term youth exchanges, the two-year project “Collaboratio Balkanica,” which brought together young people from the Western Balkans, and the one-year Erasmus+ project “The Future We Want,” through which she promoted the reduction of harmful practices in the fashion industry across 16 European cities and at the European Parliament. She is fluent in English and proficient in Czech.
